The breakfast was delicious, and my family loved the warm atmosphere created by the hostess, Sue. We enjoyed a lovely walk through the peaceful neighborhood while we explored the local shops and found the Hearth Glass and Gallery nearby.
My kids wished for more outdoor activities for families in the area.

I enjoyed my stay in Patricia's room, where the comfortable bed and spacious clawfoot tub provided a lovely touch. The hosts, Sue and Mike, were wonderfully attentive, and breakfast was divine, particularly the vegetable egg bake that was truly unforgettable!
Rooms are small.

Aye, the vibes were right here. Breakfast was lit—that casserole? Mad good. Sue made sure we felt at home, always smiling and checking on us. The place was chill for unwinding after hiking. Coulda stayed longer, for real. Need to tell my fam about this spot!

The breakfast was AMAZING! I devoured the yogurt parfait and casserole. 🏡 Rooms were comfy, but I did notice a bit of an aged vibe. Overall, great experience though!

Family with children recommend it for a cozy stay
The owners, Su and Mike. They even made a pot of tea when we felt chilled one night. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the second morning when I had this very nice vegetable egg bake, I mean,, it was lovely!
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but it was still reasonable enough for the experience.

I had an incredible stay! The warm hospitality from Sue and Mike made me feel right at home. The house was spacious, immaculate, and very comfortable, with an inviting atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. I particularly loved the beautiful garden view and cozy common areas, which made my mornings so serene. The location is ideal for visiting Mayland Dark Sky Park, just a short drive away, and the nearby charming small-town atmosphere is a delight to explore.
While my overall experience was fantastic, I did notice that parking was a bit limited during peak hours.

Charming atmosphere created by thoughtful hosts who went out of their way to ensure comfort. The delicious breakfast featured freshly baked European bread, and the cozy common areas with gas fireplaces added a warm touch during chilly days. Unfortunately, the location was a bit noisy at times, and I noticed some minor cleanliness issues in shared spaces. Overall, a lovely getaway.

Had a great time with friends exploring the local area on foot. We loved visiting the Hearth Glass and Gallery nearby. The hosts were friendly, and breakfast was excellent every morning. Our room was clean, and the sitting areas were very relaxing. It's a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature's beauty.
One downside was the somewhat snarky attitude from the host during breakfast, which was a bit off-putting. It would have been nicer to avoid that and just enjoy the meal.
